The first idea was to make a paranormal/witch series about myself and my family. Mostly about my mom and me.
You can see us as modern witches. (Personal fiction), But during the proces i came with the idea to photograph myself in a dead forest, close to my home. Still showing myself as a witch but in combination how i see the forest.
I wanted to show a horrible, mysterious atmosphere, because that is what i feel when i see the forest.
I try to create that by making my own filter, made with a panty with black stripes that i put around my lens.
(All elements come together to create balance)
Fantasy also plays an important part. I want to inspire people with this series,
so that they will appreciate people that identify themself as a modern witch. A fantasy how i see the forest.
