Romi Vaerenbergh

Romi Vaerenbergh (2000°) is a poet and a visual artist who was born and lives in Belgium. By making dimensional interventions on the photographic images, Romi Vaerenbergh shapes the processsing of unconscious dream worlds and emotions. Romi Vaerenbergh is curious about the mental boulding stones of humans, and tries to compare those with personal experiences. She comes up with a visual story and so create the basis of her works. She is currently studying visual arts on the LUCA School of Arts C-mine at Genk, where she invites herself to take a broader view of those mental stones. She wants to do that by combining her other great obsessions with mental well-being. This is how Romi Vaerenbergh wants to combine her obsession of nature with her fascination for the mental building stones of humans.
